Process automation and AI
Automation may combine exact rules, available system interfaces, an optional AI layer and human approval. AI is not a default requirement and is used only where it addresses a concrete input or decision-support need.

01
Deterministic workflow
Predictable steps belong in rules and automation. Their behaviour should be traceable and connected to a defined trigger.
Validate and complete required values Routing, approvals and notifications Calculations, reporting and scheduled tasks Integrations based on available APIs and access
02
AI where it is justified
A model may help with unstructured content or prepare supporting material. It should not replace a rule that can be described exactly.
Document extraction and classification Customer-request classification Draft summaries or responses Finding relevant context
03
People, exceptions and fallback
The process must define which cases may proceed automatically and which require review. An exception is part of the design, not a side state.
Approval of sensitive or uncertain cases An exception queue with a clear owner A safe return to manual handling Monitoring errors and incomplete inputs
Assumptions and limits
Connections depend on available interfaces, permissions, data quality and approved rules. An AI output is not automatically a binding decision and requires a defined level of human review.
